Anita Barone

A versatile stage actress who has mainly been cast in shows on TV, Anita Barone received her greatest chance in the medium when she played husband of Jeff Foxworthy on "The Jeff Foxworthy Show," which played for one season on ABC in 1995-96. Barone played on stage for the first time at the age of five in Detroit following the move of her family to the city from St Louis. By age 23 she was in more than 50 productions mostly for university productions as well as regional theatres. She played Juliet, a frightened young nun in "Agnes of God,"" Helen Keller, the main character in "Monday After the Miracle,"" and Juliet as well in "Romeo and Juliet." in 1987 she played an appearance in a movie named "Ricochet". In addition, she played a character in "The Rosary Murders". And in 1996, Barone played the main character in a romantic comedy that was independent named "Just Friends". Barone had her first notable Hollywood film role in the form of Carol & Company (NBC, 1990-1991) The ill-fated effort to be a part of Carol Burnett in trying to revitalize the comedy sketch program. Barone appeared in "Wounded Heart", a 1995 USA Network film. In the end, she got back to her regular sitcom season, co-starring alongside Michael Chiklis in "Daddio" (NBC in 2000). Anita Anita Anita
